Lore of the Land
The land we live in shapes our lives and holds the story of our relationship
with its vast mystery.
Lore of the Land is an invitation to all Australians. Explore, understand
and reflect on your relationship with, and love of, the land. Take
a journey through new cultural insights, Australian landscapes and
Indigenous voices.
The challenges of our landscape - its history, demographics, land
use and leisure, social realities and legal judgements - can be partially
understood in the context of Australia's diverse cultural backgrounds
and expectations. But there is a deeper dimension. It is the land
and its timeless spirituality that underlies and shapes the Australian
character and its story, the essential Lore of the Land.
Lore of the Land is an interactive documentary CD-ROM and website
which was officially launched on the 20th of October.
