PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) in partnership with the Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development (DIIRD) produced this CD-Rom as the third stage of a three year project designed to support the redevelopment of the senior secondary chemistry curriculum.

The CD-ROM focuses on introducing the emerging sciences of biotechnology, green chemistry, nanotechnology, neuroscience, organic chemistry and synchrotron, and the important role of chemistry in their development. It provides teachers with access to 'cutting edge' research at the local, national and international level through articles, websites, PowerPoint presentations, animations and video clips.
